Black Vote Republican?

In what world would it make sense for a black person in America to support any Republican running for office. While one could agree that many Black Americans share some of the social and moral views espoused by republican candidates for political office, very few would agree that republican economic policies have ever been good for Black Americans. Republican candidates have characterized Black Americans as being lazy, on welfare, abusing drugs, lacking education, and continually point out a “them” and “us” world that maintains that "they" are different. When segregation was no longer permitted, republicans were in the forefront of private education separating their children from black children. While it is hard to imagine why anyone whose income on line 37 of a 1040 tax return is lass than $150,000.00 would ever consider voting for a republican it is even harder to imagine a Black American pulling a republican’s lever. Black Americans have never benefited from republican policies or issues. Black Americans make up a majority of people in prisons. Black Americans have higher rates on unemployment. Black Americans have higher poverty rates. If you are Black, what possible reason can you find to vote republican?
