Vote for Failure

A vote for a Republican is a vote for failure. Ever since the inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States, Republicans have called for his failure. The leading Senatorial Republican, Mitch McConnell was very outspoken that the failure of Obama to win a second term his entire political goal. Many of the republican candidates for the presidential nomination lacked a single positive campaign platform focusing only on preventing the reelection of President Obama. Other republican candidates only offered the “repeal of Obamacare” as the reason they should be the republican presidential nominee. One also has to look at the results of the 2010 congressional elections with the many “tea party” candidates winning congressional seats and ask, what positive legislation has been taken as a result of this republican majority in the House of Representatives. The reality is that a failure of the Obama Presidency is a failure that will be shared and suffered by a majority of Americans. Unless you happen to be one of the 2% at the top of the income tree you will surly suffer should Obama fail. If the economy takes another drop you, not Senator McConnell will be adversely affected. If Obama’s foreign policy results in another war, you, not Representative Boehner will be affected. If Obamacare is repealed, you, not Representative Cantor will be affected. A vote for Obama’s failure or for anyone running for office promoting the failure of Obama is a vote contrary to your own interests unless you are one of the few millionaires. Failure to create jobs affects almost everyone. Failure to control spending affects every American. Failure to continue the economic turnaround (as slow as it might be progressing) effects us all. Why would you vote for someone who is hoping Obama fails? If Obama fails, the country as a whole fails. Is the future of America something to vote against?
