Brain Power

After the 2010 elections, many states ended up with Republican controlled legislatures and Republican governors. For the most part, there victories were based upon campaign promises of jobs and other economic promises. However, since taking office the Republican controlled legislatures led by Republican governors have focused their attention on social issues like abortion and contraception. Many states have strengthened various barriers that would either deter or prevent a woman from choosing to abort an unwanted pregnancy. At the same time many of the same states have also enacted legislation to defund or reduce funding to organizations like Planned Parenthood that, for the most part, provide contraceptives and means to prevent unwanted pregnancies. One has to wonder where the brains of these governors and legislators are anatomically speaking. They can only be between their legs as it is readily apparent that there are no brains between the ears of these people. They must not realize that contraceptives PREVENT unwanted pregnancies. They must not be able to connect the dots that show that the best way to prevent abortions is to prevent unwanted pregnancies. I await any of these “enlightened” idiots that have voted for legislation to restrict abortions and legislation to limit contraception to cite a single case of an abortion performed on a woman who was not pregnant. Listening to comments made by legislators in Tennessee, it is apparent that there are idiots in office today. The more frightening thought has to do with the brain power of those who cast votes that enabled them to be elected to office. Where are their brains? It should be obvious that there is little between their ears...perhaps to be a legislator or elect one, the need is for brains to relocate between the legs.
