Business Experience

Voting for President of the United States because of past business experience is like going to a surgeon who had dental experience. Business is not the same as government and government is not the same as business. Keep in mind that the economic problems and the high unemployment America faces today were the result of policies of a prior president who also had an MBA and touted his business experience. Did Romney’s business experience help him increase the deficit in Massachusetts when he was governor? Was it Romney’s business experience that took the state from 37th to 47th in job creation during his term as governor? Perhaps because of Romney’s business experience his approval rating in Massachusetts, where people experienced his business experience at work in the government sector, is the lowest of any other state. Can the country afford on-the job training? We are living with the results of a president elected because of business experience and the country cannot afford a rerun of recession and unemployment that was the result of business experience. Obama already has experience as President. What he and the country needs is a Senate that will permit proposed legislation to come to the floor for a vote.
