Bumper Sticker or Bullshit?

The other day, Mitt Romney detailed a 5 point plan that includes opening new markets for more US goods, energy independence and balancing the budget. This plan is:
  1. Take advantage of energy resources
  2. Open up trade, particularly in Latin America
  3. Convince the world that U.S. is on track for balanced budget
  4. Training programs for adults/better schools for kids
  5. Restore economic freedom
"It's not based in a philosophy that says government is the course of all answers.  It's based on recognition that free people pursuing their dreams, taking a risk and building will get American jobs again," said Romney.  Unfortunately, what Romney calls a plan, most pundits have labeled it “bumper stickers” and a few have used terms analogous to bovine defecatory materials (in other words, bullshit)to describe his latest release.  Since Romney began his presidential quest he has been heavy on criticism but light on what he would actually do that would result in improving the economy or making life better for most citizens.  His low tax, less regulations approach is similar to the policies that brought America to the brink of depression and has no evidentiary support to suggest they would work any better in the future.  The inequality in both wealth and income between the top 10% and the rest of the citizenry continues to grow and under the “Romney plan” will only get even greater.  While Romney voices concern for middle class growth he has yet to introduce a single program or policy that will result in middle class growth.  In as much as Romney is the presumptive head of the republican party, why hasn’t he asked the Republican led House of representatives to put forth legislation that would create jobs, grow the middle class, and help “free people pursuing their dream”?  If his plans are so valid what are the details?  What will he do that is not presently being done?  Where are the specifics?  Romney’s plans as well as all of the other Republican intentions are aimed only at increasing the income and wealth of the Koch Brothers, the Waltons (from Walmart), and Romney.  These people are about as far from middle class as one could get.  These five points are not a plan but just more political bullshit that does not even make for good bumper stickers from an individual lacking competence to be President of the United States.  The  only skill Romney has shown is his ability to be gaffer-in-chief!
