Thank you for reading my blog and taking the time to comment.  Let me first say that my past experience had nothing to do with my opinions.  My complaint is with those few on the right who have managed to acquire extreme wealth thanks to the tax and economic policies that favor a very few in this country.  This issue is further compounded by the use of their acquired wealth to further tilt the government policies even more in their favor while doing nothing to reverse the decline of the remaining 90% of Americans who were probably the consumers of the products and services that provided the privileged few their wealth. Regarding the “cheap shot” at a deferment, I am continually amazed at how an individual can hope to become “Commander-in-Chief” after doing everything possible to avoid military service.  At the same time as aspiring to become Commander-in-Chief, that same individual can advocate cutting government finances to assist those who did serve in the military the support they need to transition to civilian life.
