Sorry Mr. President

Sorry to say, Mr. President, but the other night you blew it.  You had an opportunity to show the American people that you were capable of being a leader and could handle difficult situations and in your debate with Mitt Romney, you failed completely.  Unless it was your intention to “sandbag” and change Las Vegas and London betting odds, or lull the Romney campaign into a false sense of accomplishment,  your efforts last night were dismal.  You had the opportunity to disprove much of what Romney asserted but failed to do so.  You had the opportunity to look Presidential, point out the lies and misinformation that has characterized the campaign of Romney,  and failed this task as well.  From the sounds of many of the pundits following the debate, I am not alone in this thinking.  I  have a suggestion, instead of sending emails asking for more contributions because you have failed to raise as much as the Romney campaign, why not try a different tactic. You might be better served by telling those in receipt of your email just what they might expect from you for their contributions.  What have you done for Americans over the past three plus years, and what will you do, if elected, for the next four years.  How will Americans benefit from the policies you propose rather than those proposed by Romney/Ryan.  It should be obvious to most that Romney/Ryan will definitely benefit the top 10% of Americans, but there are not enough Americans in that group to elect a president.  So, this leads to question just what reasons can you give to give you my vote.  The other night, you failed in this regard.  Hopefully, Joe Biden will have a far better performance in his debate with Paul Ryan and, I for one, am hoping that you do far better in the next two debates with Mitt Romney.  We need a President who is capable of leading and being presidential and last night you were not that person.
