It appears that Republicans do not realize that they lost the last election. As a reminder, Romney, a Republican lost his Presidential bid, Republicans failed to gain seats in the Senate as well as in the House, and there were more Democratic votes for members of Congress than Republican votes for members of Congress. By any measurement, Republicans lost. Now, in spite of their loss, Republicans seem to think they are still in charge and can still demand policies that led to their defeat in last month’s election. Here is a suggestion for those Republicans who fail to accept the reality that their economic policies actually suck...go along with the Democrats and let them pass any and all legislation they propose. If you are so certain that their policies are doomed to fail let them enact those policies and when they fail as you expect, Republicans will be swept into office once more. If you continue to block and obstruct, the American public now realizes that you are forcing Democrats to live with the very policies that resulted in your losing the last election. How can you run on a bad economic climate when it is your policies combined with your obstruction to any change that prevents the Democrats from implementing legislation you feel would fail. You lost so it is time to accept that loss and allow the Democrats to implement those policies you feel will hurt the economy and then have to live with the failed results. Of course, it would appear you fear that those policies might actually succeed and make it even more obvious that your economic policies of supply-side/trickle down will never work. It is understandable if you are afraid that building a strong middle class, increasing employment, and increasing economic growth might actually result from Democratic policies. Should that happen you can kiss 2016 goodbye. But, since you are confident that will never happen, be a good loser and let the Democrats have their way and that will insure Christy will be a shoo-in over Hillary in 2016.
