Donald Trump ran on a populist, economic, nationalist
agenda, according to Steve Bannon. The
focus of his agenda was the working men and women in America. While these words may sound promising, there
is not a single policy either Trump, Bannon, or any member of Trump’s cabinet
proposed by this administration designed to benefit the working men and women
of America. He had no policy when it
came to “repeal and replace” that might have helped his claimed targeted
population. The greatest contributor to
the welfare of the working men and women of America was the union movement
which Trump and the Republican Party have done everything within their power to
demolish. There is nothing more
detrimental to the working men and women of America than the Republican
legislation designed to suppress the votes such as the photo ID laws and the
Commissions trying to assert voting improprieties of illegal immigrants. Trump’s so-called tax reforms is just another
way of lowering the taxes for those like Trump and by cutting programs that
benefit the poor and the working men and America, Trump proposes to pay for
those tax reforms. Trump has lived his
life using words to make promises and has yet to demonstrate actions to bring
those words to life. Like the cliché,
“all hat and no cattle”, Trump is all words and no actions. No matter what it is called, the Trump agenda
is limited to make Trump richer, nothing more.
