This will be the final post on this blog featuring Donald Trump. This post is intended to demonstrate the exact reason people who voted for Trump in either 2016 or 2020 were stupid, ignorant, or a combination of th two. Many voters apparently believed once in office, Trump would undergo a personality change. Others thought his appointments and staff would “keep him under control”. Still others voted for Trump because they knew his total efforts would be to lower their taxes or end abortion, or a combination of the two which offset any past social indiscretions. Finally many voted for him based upon his assertions he was a great businessman and, thus, a great leader. Unfortunately for many in the country, they were all wrong. Fortunately, in the 2020 election approximately 7 million voters came to their senses and after watching his attempt to be President of the United States concluded, rightly by the way, 70 million people were wrong. Trump did not get relected for a second term in office because he fucked up and failed to take advantage of the opportunities he faced in his first term in office. For a while he had a tremendous economic advantage until he fucked up. Even though his presidency did little or nothing to encourage the economic growth enjoyed over the first thirty-eight or thirty ninth months of his first term in office he had no idea to preside once the Covid-19 virus turned the economy to shit. In addition his failure to even cope with the basic needs to defeat and control the virus spread again, given the opportunity, he failed to deal with the issues like insufficient PPEs. He tried to pass the buck for these issues to governors and others on lower pedestals of government rather than taking presidential responsibility and solving the problems himself. Even when attempting to solve various issues on a presidential level he failed by appointing incompetents with no experience to deal with issues. After trying to take credit for economic aid to individuals who were suffering the economic effects of the virus he failed to take any actions when economic ran out and Republicans in Congress failed to even put economic aid to a vote. Trump was incompetent and America did not believe that in 2016 and in 2020, 70 million Americans also failed to recognize this incompetence after he so aptly demonstrated his total lack of leadership ability. 70 million voters also failed to realize the simple fact the Trump was psychological impaired and mentally unable to learn from his mistakes, recognize, acknowledge, and take advantage of his initial inability to competently serve as President. To make matters even worse, multiple millions of Americans still listen to and continue to believe the lies he continues to utter and they believe his election defeat ws the result of his own failures but was, in his words, stolen. Meanwhile in spite of all evidence to the contrary many continue to believe his tweets. This belief, by the way, continues in spite of the real fact uncovered by his attempts to change the outcome in various states is any attempts to illegally vote were committed in Trump’s behalf by rump voters! So, it is time to close the book on the Trump era. It is time to acknowledge that when hiring (or voting) experience counts. A total lack of experience is no reason to give the responsibility of representing an individual’s interests and needs to someone who has never had the experience. It should be time to acknowledge that sometimes people seeking elective office have falsified their resumes and their past claims need to be vetted. Finally, it is time to acknowledge a vote for Trump or any Republican continuing to stand by Trump was a mistake that will have negative consequences that will impact those voting for Trump or Republican lap dogs will feel the pain of those consequences the very most. So, having concluded that Trump is not worth the time or energy to continue the time has come to follow the adage, if you can’t say something good about someone say nothing at all”.
