Has the Republican Party been turned in to a cult? Is the Republican Party no longer a political
party but just another cult like the KKK, White Supremacists, Proud Boys, or
Oath Keepers? Did Donald Trump evolve
into the cult leader? Virtually every known cult is headed by a single
controlling leader. The cult leader is
usually a man who has a consuming ego.
He attacks his enemies and lashes out in anger. He also has an absolute belief that he is
always correct. And, he listens to neither advice nor criticism. Finally the cult leader is paranoid and
craves worship and adulation. One of the
other signs of a cult is that followers are usually people sick of their
jobs. By promising a better future the
cult leader manages to convince his followers that his way is the only way and
those so convinced are usually separated from their personal funds by appeals
from the cult leader. So, what do you
think? Political Party or a cult?
This is the voice of a former Eisenhower Republican who presently is witnessing the destruction of the middle class because of today's Republican politics and policies. Today, ideology trumps reality and practicality. The time has come for humans to take back the castles from the corporations. Comments are welcome, by the way.
