The news media has, for the past few days, focused on
Donald Trump being hospitalized with Covid-19.
No one seems to have asked the question if he is really sick with the
virus. Trump has told over 25,000 lies
since his inauguration so what evidence is there that this is just another one
of his lies? It would not be out of
character for Trump to go to the extreme of being hospitalized among other
pretenses if he felt this might improve his chances for being re-elected to a
second term in office. Americans have
witnessed how many who question Trump’s leadership ability have stifled their
opinions and given Trup the benefit of their doubt. Even though his personal physicians have
indicated Trump was stricken with Covid-19, these same physicians have also
been known to stretch truth when it comes to Trump’s health. So, why believe him now? The absolute irony comes when one compares
Trump’s various comments regarding masking, social distancing, and other
scientifically demonstrated ways to minimize catching the virus. He not only treated with these suggestions
with disdain but went so far as to totally ignore masking and social distancing
in both his daily life and in his directions to Red State governors. Masks and social distancing were not a fact
of life in the White House and, in spite of Covid-19 showing up in various
individuals in the Trump orbit, he continue to ignore the directions of
scientists and physicians. So, is he
really sick? Is the trip to Walter Reed
Military Hospital another of his cons?
Perhaps the question of the day is, “how will we ever know for
sure?” Is he really sick?
