Yep! She’s Republican

In a previous post, I opined that it was possible that Bella, my newly acquired canine housemate might just be Republican. Evidence on a daily basis is confirming those observations. Her life revolves around the three canine esses. She sheds, sleeps, and shits. Now in all fairness, she does eat also, but her day is focused on those previously mentioned activities. She doesn’t seem to like to play, chase balls, chew on rawhide, or even go for walks (except for the 3rd S). She will accelerate her tail wag if she thinks she might get a treat. But otherwise it is S1 or S2. When it comes to food, she is like a politician either anticipating or accepting a campaign contribution. She really gets excited and can’t wait to get into the food bowl. Oh yes, I think I already mentioned that she does not like other dogs. She does not even pretend to like other dogs, unlike Boehner when he played golf with Obama. I’m sure she is anti-caninistic! So, here’s the real issue ... bipartisanship. Only time will tell if we will be able to continue to live under the same roof. Right now I’m optimistic and am able to put up with her foibles. Time will tell if she is able to tolerate mine.
