Killing for Peace is like F#@king for Chastity

While Republicans are often thought of as stodgy old male curmudgeons, here is a fact that is age and gender neutral. · First: Contraceptives have a side effect of preventing pregnancies. · Second: Without a pregnancy, there is little or no need for abortion. Since the on-going mantra of the Republican party is prevention of abortions one would think that Republicans would not only be in favor of contraceptives but would be clamoring for contraceptives to be in drinking water like fluoride. After all everyone knows that republicans use bottled water while the “welfare queens” and their teen-aged daughters who are most in need of pregnancy prevention use tap water. The contraceptive issue must be based upon conservative Republican logic that seems to imply that banning contraceptives will also prevent abortions. Considering how well their economic logic of lowering taxes will increase revenue has worked it should be obvious how they have arrived at their position on contraceptives.
