This is the voice of a former Eisenhower Republican who presently is witnessing the destruction of the middle class because of today's Republican politics and policies. Today, ideology trumps reality and practicality. The time has come for humans to take back the castles from the corporations. Comments are welcome, by the way.

Flip, Flip-flop, FLOP
How many flips can Romney take before he completely flops. Is he not aware of the internet? Does Romney lack competent staff that can show him his previous remarks on various issues. Has Romney not seen himself on television when he actually contradicts himself? The latest Romney flip-flop, involve his writing (NOTE MITT, YOU PUT THIS IN WRITING!)in 2006 and 2009 in a Massachusetts newspaper and in USA Today his opinions on the benefits of mandates in his Massachusetts healthcare program. On March 4th, he denied ever taking that position. Keep in mind, when he put forth an argument favoring a mandate, this was not a spur of the moment comment but on at least two occasions was written insertions by Romney or by his staff in his behalf. Now he denies ever having that opinion. During his victory speech following a primary win on March 6th, Romney said, “real change is finally on the way”. While I am sure he was trying to besmirch Obama’s “change you can believe in” slogan, he was speaking the truth about his position on many issues. Depending upon the time of day, day of the week, and the audience before whom he appears, you can be certain that change is finally on the way because he will take a completely opposite position from one taken in the past It take a great deal of organization, talent, intelligence, and skill to run a successful political campaign. It would take even better organization, greater talent, intelligence, and skill to be successful in the office of President of the United States. Romney has demonstrated neither the abilities to successfully campaign for national office and has definitely flopped when it comes to demonstrating the abilities to be competent if elected to that office. In the words of John McCain during the 2004 primary campaign, "Romney is the real candidate of change". McCain went on to say if one just waits a while Romney will again change his position on any issue. Romney has flopped. He may buy the nomination but will not be able to buy the election in spite of his wealth. Willard made too many flops!
