20%???

The Romney fiscal plan calls for a reduction of 20% in expenditures for the poor. His plan also calls for reductions in the federal work force (job creation Romney style). While his plan fails to be specific, here is a suggestion of where to start. First, the salary of the President should be reduced by 20%. In addition, the expenditure for the White House including staff salaries should also be reduced by 20%. Next, reduce the salaries of all members of Congress by 20% as well as reducing Congressional staff and Congressional office expenses by 20%. After these cuts are in place, run the government for one full year and see how much has been saved.
