This is the voice of a former Eisenhower Republican who presently is witnessing the destruction of the middle class because of today's Republican politics and policies. Today, ideology trumps reality and practicality. The time has come for humans to take back the castles from the corporations. Comments are welcome, by the way.

What’s Wrong with Romney?
What is wrong with Mitt Romney that will prevent him from winning the Presidential election if he is the Republican nominee. To begin with, he has yet to have a single idea of how to govern. He has taken every possible position on every issue under discussion yet no one knows where he really stands on anything. When running against McCain for the 2008 nomination, McCain called him the only true candidate for change. About the only thing he has going for him is he looks presidential (until he opens his mouth). He has criticized President Obama for “Obamacare” which is a mirror of Romneycare, the Massachusetts healthcare law. He railed against the contraception requirement in Obamacare all the while having signed that requirement into law as governor. His support of the Ryan budget plan would add to the deficit, give more tax breaks to the wealthy, and be a repetition of the very policies that lead to the deficit (which he agrees Obama did not cause, but has not made economic improvements. His claims of creating 100,000 jobs while at Baine Capital pale against the 4 million jobs created in the past 3 years of the Obama administration. He cites his “executive experience at Baine but apparently is unaware that Obama has had three years of experience being the President and Commander-in-Chief which would trump experience at Baine Capital and Governor of Massachusetts. Finally, Romney has no foreign policy experience or positions (unless you consider three years as a LDS missionary in France better training than three years as a United States President). Perhaps Romney’s biggest hurdle he has yet to overcome is his failings to win consensus among his own party. If most of the Republicans do not think Romney to be presidential, why should the rest of America vote for Mitt? What’s wrong with Romney? He’s Willard not Mitt! He can’t even get his own first name right in a debate!
