Political Alzheimer’s

Does Willard Romney have Alzheimer’s disease? When asked about an accusation of bigotry that took place when he was in school and was made public by five of the people involved with him, he claimed an inability to remember that episode. Atone of the Republican debates he seemed to be unable to remember his own name. He obviously did not remember his comments regarding his position on same-sex marriage he made when running for the Senate seat held by Ted Kennedy when he commented on President Obama’s newly stated position on the subject or when he spoke at a commencement ceremony at Liberty University. One can conclude one of two things considering all of the position reversals taken by Romney over his political career: Either he is a congenital liar, incapable of speaking the truth, OR, he has been stricken with Alzheimer’s disease. In either case, his qualifications to be President of the United States have to be questioned. We have seen how wars can be started based upon misinformation and lies. The country cannot afford a repeat of another WMD incident.
