Well, the election is over. The United States survived another “change in government” without
gunfire or other signs of revolution so often found in other parts of the
world. So, what can we look forward
to? Will the spirit of bi-partisanship
result in a Senate that can agree to craft legislation rather than obstruct
legislation? Will Mitch McConnell and
Harry Reid begin to work together? Will
Dick Armey realize that the Tea Party is a losing proposition? Will Fox News acknowledge that Barack Obama
is the twice elected President of the United States and Donald Trump is full of
shit? Will pigs fly???
This is the voice of a former Eisenhower Republican who presently is witnessing the destruction of the middle class because of today's Republican politics and policies. Today, ideology trumps reality and practicality. The time has come for humans to take back the castles from the corporations. Comments are welcome, by the way.
