Diversity

According to recent newspaper articles, the Republican National Convention will showcase the diversity claimed by the Republican party.  Once again, they will talk the talk but fail to walk the walk.  Featuring speakers from various minority group, women, or seniors will not counter all of the anti-other legislation enacted by local, state, and federal legislations that contradict any diversity on the part of the Republican establishment.  Today, the Republican party is as close to an American Taliban as we have ever experienced.  This is a party that has enacted anti-women legislation, anti-immigrant legislation, legislation to take away funding needed by the poor, and has made countless attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act which would provide healthcare insurance to millions of uninsured.  This party has consistently lied and misled the public and while claiming to favor jobs and the middle class, and has failed to enact a single piece of legislation that would create a job for anyone.  The Republican party is owned by people like the Koch Brothers, Sheldon Adelson, Rush Limbaugh, and Foster Fries.  Today, regardless of who might have a speaking role at the convention, this is the most bigoted party since the demise of the Klu Klux Klan.  Republicans have attempted to redefine voter fraud by suppressing the vote of millions and now the Republicans in Tampa will try to redefine diversity.  THEY WILL NOT SUCCEED!
