Domestic Terrorists

 While the Senate and the House are holding hearings to investigate the domestic terrorist incident of January 6^th, it seems like members of either the House or Senate have failed to look at one of the sources for the cause of this incident.  While the focus is, in part, on the speech made by Donald Trump on the morning of January 6^th, little has been said about the Senators and Representatives that also acted to foment terrorist activity.  By continue to lie about election fraud, Senators and Representatives, who are presumed to be responsible, law-abiding leaders continue to make false claims about the 2020 election.  In spite of these false assertions, none of these individuals have brought any evidence to light that would support their claims.  Furthermore, in over 70 court appearances contesting the election results no evidence was presented and every case was thrown out or dismissed without a finding of any court to support a claim of fraud.  Each and every Senator and Representative that made false claims of fraud should be removed from office.  They each have demonstrated a lack of responsibility to serve in any legislative capacity.  There is no way a country can be governed by people either so stupid or lacking in competence to allow such conspiracy claims to control their thoughts.  There is no doubt that there is unrest with regards to the outcome of the 2020 election but this unrest needs to be redirected to the real cause for upset...the American people inaugurated an individual unfit to serve as President.  For the four years of his term in office he failed to learn how government works and failed to competently preside.  He also ran an incompetent campaign for re-election failing to provide a single reason Americans should vote to re-elect him.  Instead of campaigning on future plans that may have appealed to voters his entire campaign thrust was complaints about the possibility of election fraud.  Eighty-five million voters determined he was not worthy of re-election and did not vote for him.  But, unable to come to grips of his loss, Trump resorted to more lies and misinformation and by doing so, abetted the terrorist activity of January 6^th.  The leaders of the domestic terrorists need to be brought to justice and those leaders include Donald Trump as well as the Senators and Representatives that failed to recognize the legitimate election results.
